There are plenty of opportunities. But remember consider wisely about viability of these destinations as primary residences or investment property. “Why Tampa”? is not meant to be insulting; it could very well be asked of Los Angeles, Phoenix or Las Vegas. Research the long-term viability of what the cities can offer beyond cheap real estate.

As poor as the conditions seem for sellers, if you are a buyer in your 20s, these couple of years are a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a great deal on a house.
