Tampa Cdd Communities
A CDD stands for community development district and is basically an additional tax that goes on your real estate tax bill. The developer takes out a bond to develop and maintain the community and the homeowners pay back the bond via the yealy cdd fee each year for a certain time frame usually up to thirty years. Not all communities are a cdd community but those communities that are will pay a higher tax which gets applied to your non ad valorem tax. Your Cdd can go up if there is more money need for maintenance, landscaping, and such. Usually you will see cdd fees on large master planned communities and typically with have more ammenities than a non cdd community.
