Real Estate Do Follow Blogs

by admin on December 5, 2008

Do follow comments are a great way to reward people who comment on your blog, by default most blogs have the comments set as no follow unless you add a do follow plugin. Do follow blogs will pass pagerank to the commenters website and this is how it rewards the commentator more than a blog that does not follow. I am putting together a list of real estate blogs that follow below, if you know of one you would like to add please let me know. Also if you see one listed here that is no longer do follow then please let me know. CL= Comment Luv Enabled KL=Keyword Luv plugin

wow, I didn’t know that there would be so many real estate dofollow blogs.

There really are far more dofollow blogs out there than most people realise

2 Kevin@Great Wall of China Facts December 16, 2008 at 5:55 am

Thanks for this list of blogs. I would like to comment on them sometime.

3 Dan_N December 17, 2008 at 8:52 am

@ Andy the tough part is keeping them updated as a lot of times sites will go from do follow to no follow at the flick of a switch.

@ Kevin Thanks for visiting if you know of any more please feel free to let me know.

Thanks

I love WordPress and am glad I have all my blogs on this platform. I would recommend switching if you have the patience to deal with it. Thanks for visiting JCL

I would like to make my Ann Arbor real estate blog do follow. It is on Blogger. Any idea how to do it? Is there a do follow plugin for Blogger?

Thank Dan_N, I found a blogger plug in that seems to work. Had to go in and tweak the code, but my Ann Arbor real estate blog is now DO FOLLOW. There is a do follow graphic that you can click on if you want to make your blogger blog do follow. The implementation was pretty easy.

Thanks.

Hey Andy it appears your blog still is no follow, I will add it to the list here if you can get it working.

Thanks,
Dan

HI – Piperpartners is DO FOLLOW :-) now. I tried to return your email but it bounced. FYI, and thanks for bringing to my attention.

This is a great news knowing so many blogs can give link to other site. Two advantages instantly, abundant new precious information and knowledge and the useful link. Thank for all the kindness.

12 James@women fashion dresses January 7, 2009 at 4:30 am

This is a great list of websites. Do follow is a good way to give something back to your readers. Thank you for providing it.

13 Scott Hack@Oldham County Real Estate January 8, 2009 at 12:15 pm

Thanks for providing this list. It looks like that like everything else the internet is moving fast. Several of the blogs above have already moved away from dofollow. I see you have the comment love as well as keywordLuv installed. Do you see an increase in spam because of this?

Nice list. RT Cunningham has a similar list over at UnTwistedVortex if you’re interested in adding a few more entries.

15 Josh@Tempe Real Estate Broker February 4, 2009 at 12:51 am

This is an excellent rescource for the working real estate professional to make contacts in other places, and also, to maybe start a referal network. If you sell someones house and know they are moving to denver, call up your guy in denver, and refer him some business.

Nice list,

Josh

16 Turin@FashionWare Store February 15, 2009 at 6:53 am

Dan, thank you for this list. It is really more pleasant to comment when you know that you also get some positive response.

17 steve@Credit Card Debt Settlement February 24, 2009 at 2:40 pm

Thats an amazing list of blogs thanks must of been some hard work to put that all together.

18 Paul@Meeting rooms April 7, 2009 at 9:28 am

Great tool!! It allows those who leave relevant comments to get a little link love and gives the blog owners a more active blog. It’s win win for both sides. I found your blog because you use keyword luv and glad cos you do have interesting posts I wouldn’t have found normally.

19 Andy@Engagement Rings May 18, 2009 at 8:24 pm

I think that it is important to mention that yes, it is important to comment on a page with a higher page rank, but if the homepage has a high page rank and the page you are commenting on hasn’t been ranked yet, that is still okay. You can consider it more of an investment. As time goes on, that page will go up in page rank, and the closer it is to the homepage the better, as the pagerank will rarely ever go higher than a site’s homepage rank.
Great post!

Nice list Dan, even though my main business isn’t real estate I love seeing the great deals out there. I’ll be checking out the sites.

On another note how far of a drive is it from Tampa to Disney World?

Wow, I come here looking for one dofollow blog and end up leaving with a list!… was I not supposed to admit that?… oops… pretend you didn’t hear anything.

Thanks for the list though.

22 Jordan @ Property Management Bradenton June 6, 2009 at 4:33 am

Thank you for the list. all of my blogs are dofollow. Great to share the link love.

23 bethany@makeup artist san antonio June 11, 2009 at 11:26 am

I completely appreciate page rank being passed to the commenters, and I have been using keyword luv on my site, but it just takes effort to filter out spam.

24 Scott@ Florida foreclosures June 15, 2009 at 10:08 am

Good list. Do Follow blogs are important for SEO, but does not generate too much other benefit. I am assuming most people that comment on blogs are in the same field. Referral business may be limited. Thoughts?

@ Scott Whenever you leave a link regardless it is do follow or no follow provides another way to be found. Not that is the most effective way you are going to be found but it does provide the opportunity. Thanks for commenting.

28 Dan_N June 16, 2009 at 5:06 pm

@Scott Your blog appears to be a no follow blog.

29 Logan@taux assurance vie June 25, 2009 at 8:55 am

Thanks for sharing out the list. I haven’t realized that there are many real estate blogs that are do follow. Most of the ones I see are on SEO and technology.

30 Scott June 27, 2009 at 4:22 am

Dan,
I don’t get it. I have activated my plugin on WP for CommentLuv and Do Follow. I just checked and they are activated. Being that you use WP also, is there anything else I need to do to make “do follow” happen?

I found a list earlier today using the comment luv search and as I went through the list most if not all had switched to no follow. So if you are commenting on these types of blogs make sure you are leaving good relevant comments.

Thanks dude, I’ve this page bookmarked and will definitely check those blogs out, and will try to contribute as much as I can to these blogs.
