I have lived on Anna Maria Island most of my life with the beach as my back yard and there is nothing better. im tempted myself to get something for my retirement before prices rocket up. It may sound cheesy, but I adore Florida and the whole disney thing. Im just an old Disney freak in search of some warmth in their old age.

The Denver real estate market has been driven mainly by people seeking the $8000 tax credit for first time home buyers. Although at least six bills have been introduced to extend it, it’s not certain to be extended yet. Everyone is waiting to get the President’s opinion before committing to extend it. If not, our market is in trouble. I would expect to decline further without an extension for the first time home buyer’s credit.

I suggest calling your Congressmen and women and your Senators if you agree.

@Mack You're too young to retire! Now is definitely the time to buy property for retirement or otherwise. I doubt anyone thought they would see prices this low again in their lifetime. We're seeing large price drops in Las Vegas as well.
