Ok for those who don’t know what Google plus is then where the heck have you been? Ok all serious Google plus is similar to the Facebook like button; when you see a website you like and of course we know you like this website (:wink wink:) then you just click the little Google plus button. So if you haven’t already dones so I would really appreciate it if you could go to the button in the upper right corner and click the Google plus sign. You do need to be logged into your Google account or gmail account.

If you have any questions about Google plus and how to get started please feel free to comment below and I will be more than happy to help you.

Danny – It’s terrific that you are using Thesis for your real estate site! It’s also quite refreshing that you are embracing newer technologies when they come out…for instance, Google’s +1. Have you tried Google’s new social media site, Google +? I finally went through some of the features a few days ago. I like it thus far. One of the best features I really like so far is the ability to only show certain items to certain circles or people. I have been following a couple of businesses who are using it already to see how they will incorporate Google+ into their marketing. I don’t want to be too quick to start using it. Let me know if you need an invite by sending me an email with your gmail.com address. I’d be happy to send one over to you.

Cheers on a great blog!

Lisa

It will be interesting to see how Google Plus does. I remember when Myspace was huge, and it took Facebook a while to grab myspace users. Only time will tell…

We’re on Google Plus… so far it’s pretty good. Love the ability to group people into separate contacts – I think this is the killer feature that will eventually put G+ over Facebook. Only time will tell…

I like the new Google Plus. Competition seems to bring out the best in everyone. Nice to see this site is moving fast and has added the +1 button.

I’m pretty surprise how many people warmly welcomes Google plus and most even loving it.
I would love to add you on my circle but I haven’t received any invitation yet, I guess I have to wait till its full launch. Which is still unknown.

Hi Danny,
I had heard about google plus, but did not really know what
it was until reading this article. Think a bit of competition
for facebook, can’t do any harm.
Keep up the good work!

Google Plus does not look appealing to me; it seems Google introduced it as a measure to identify quality content. After the famous panda update they have been very much conscious about the quality of content and Google Plus is a way to find out trash content. But the profile page interface does not look good so far.

It seems like every time I start doing Real Estate Searches for blogging and Social media there is always something new coming out. The good thing is that I always end up landing on Realtors web pages that are outside my area so I should not feel like the Realtors in my area are doing to much to keep up with the newest trends. I will look into adding Goor+1.

in Tri Cities Washington we only have 3 little cities that we serve for Real Estate. between Richland, Kennewick and Pasco our Real Estate community that we serve is about 250,000 people. It seems like most the agents do not spend to much time writing Articles or competing within the Google ranks. Do you do all your work yourself on your web page or do you pay writers to make you blog post and submot articles?

Thanks,
Brandon Patton

I’m really interested to see if Google’s +1 will have any impact on the way their search works, or if it will be confined to their new social bookm arking/media site thing. Or whether it will just disappear and be a failed attempt? Google pretty much own the internet after all!
